Maintenance

As driver, you are responsible for ensuring that the car is serviced in a timely manner. Your car’s on-board computer will inform you when these are due, but the maintenance booklet that comes with your lease car also indicates the dates when maintenance must be carried out. Please check the coolant, windscreen wiper fluid, motor oil and tyre condition regularly.
LeasePlan supports you as much as possible in planning your maintenance. We will book the appointment for you. And because we only work with certified service points, you're sure your car will stay in top condition.

What can you expect?
• Does your car indicate it needs maintenance before we were able to contact you? Then book your service via My LeasePlan or look for a LeasePlan approved service centre via our dealer locator and make an appointment.
 • If possible and if you so desire, we will locate a service centre that can pick up your car and return it afterwards. In all other cases a WiFi connection is available at the service centre itself.
• Your car is checked and serviced by genuine specialists who only use original parts.
• The invoice will be settled directly between the garage and LeasePlan. You don’t need to be present in person.

Abroad
We recommend to have your car serviced in Belgium before you go abroad or on your return.  However the mileage should not exceed the foreseen maintenance mileage with more than 2000 km.  Should the maintenance exceptionally have to take place abroad, then this has to be done by an official dealer of the make of your car. Please contact driver services at 078-150 600 for further details.
The concerned dealer should request an approval at our Technical Service in Belgium or at the Technical Service of the local LeasePlan Branch.
