Your lease car

Returning your vehicle

Where can you return your car?

You can choose from three options.
You may bring your vehicle in Belgium:
1. either to your business premises
2. or the dealer from whom you are collecting your new LeasePlan car
3. or to LeasePlan Car Remarketing, Industrieweg 23b, 3190 Boortmeerbeek (Vlaams-Brabant)

The carrier, the garage or a Car Remarketing employee is required to work with you to make a declaration of receipt of your vehicle and a statement of its condition. A document is made available for this purpose (Car Check Document). In most cases the driver asks for a copy of this document, to confirm delivery of the vehicle. All visible damage is noted on this document; acceptable and unacceptable. (Cars and Vans) This document is not used to determine whether or not damage is acceptable.

LeasePlan will not charge you for transport if you return your vehicle to LeasePlan Car Remarketing.

Arrange this in advance with your fleet manager as the car must be cancelled with LeasePlan in writing.

What should be in your car when you return it?

It is important that the following items are left in your car:
• the official on-board documents (The registration certificate or the copy of the registration certificate and certificate of conformity of the car are crucial. The car cannot be sold without these documents.)
• the completed service booklet and user manual suspension
• all keys (including spare keys or emergency keys)
• your radio code
• the keys, codes and case of the anti-theft system
• all accessories included in the lease

Required condition of the car upon return

Return your car clean. Dirty cars are more difficult to examine and will therefore be cleaned at your expense. Have you also removed all your personal belongings from the car?
