LeasePlan also supportes certains risks (fire, theft, attempted theft, damages and broken glass) through the formula of risk retention.
Accident or damage: just one phone call and you are attended to immediately!
If your LeasePlan car has taken a hammering, a simple phone call to our department Driver Care at +32-78-150 600 will do. While you hold the line, one of our employees draws up a damage file. You will be told immediately where and when you can bring in your car for expertise and repair since LeasePlan works with a recognized repair network.
In case of heavy damage, the pick-up of your damaged company car and the disposal of a replacement car are taken care of within a few minutes.
If there’s no opposite party, you don’t even have to fill in or provide us with the collision form! However, in the event of damage with an opposite party, a collision form is of course necessary, but declaration can be done by phone via our Driver Care team.
Moreover, while your car is being repaired, you can always contact our Driver Care team to find out if everything runs according to plan.

through with our partner Carglass, where your call will be treated as a priority.
Put a stop to unexpected end of contract damage charges
There is nothing as unpleasant as an unexpected bill. This certainly applies to damage at the end of a lease contract. To prevent this type of unexpected bombshells, LeasePlan has come up with a solution for you.
Recently LeasePlan introduced an offer whereby customers have the opportunity to take out insurance cover against the rising cost of damage incurred at the end of the lease contract, courtesy of an extra service: end of contract protection.
This end of contract protection is available as an option provided you have risk coverage preservation in place with LeasePlan today. You can only sign up to this protection for the fleet as a whole. The end of contract protection does not apply to these formulas: buy-back (e.g.,. 2+2 contract), sale & lease-back and stop & go.
LeasePlan offers two settlement regimes to choose from:
The first option is full settlement, which means you decide on a threshold amount yourself and pay the remaining balance in full if this threshold amount is exceeded.
Suppose you set this amount at 500 euros for example, and the end of contract damage amounts to 400 euros, LeasePlan takes care of the invoice amount in full. If the amount of the damage is 600 euros, you pay the full amount.
Option two is partial settlement: if the end of contract damage exceeds the threshold amount, you only pay the difference. Using the same example as above, this means you would only be paying the balance to the amount of 100 euros.
Peace of mind
The benefit of this end of contract protection is peace of mind first and foremost. Thanks to these two options, you get to determine your own threshold value as well as determine whether you want to take the risk of paying the full amount or just the balance. In addition, the administrative costs are factored in the premium, which means it is never apportioned. All in all, an innovative product, which will help to avoid a lot of arguments.
Have damage established in timely fashion
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is in your best interests to hand in the lease car at the end of the contract in a clean condition and free from damage. The majority of the end of contract damage cases can be avoid if you report the damage in timely fashion and have het vehicle repaired.
