Access to and use of internet sites, e-mail and online transactions

LeasePlan can communicate with drivers of fleet managers by using internet, email and online applications (hereinafter referred to as ‘Internet Applications’), according to the rules, as mentioned here below.

1. User identification and password

As a user, you will receive a user identification and a secret password by e-mail and you will then gain access to the Internet Applications. We have the right to limit the user identification and the secret password in time.

2. Property rights and confidentiality

All data, software applications and information concerning these Internet Applications  remain the property of LeasePlan (hereinafter referred to as “confidential information”). You undertake to keep this confidential information strictly secret and under no circumstances communicate these data to third parties.

3. Protection of personal data

You expressly authorize LeasePlan to process your personal information for the purpose of general fleet management and the management of the Internet Applications by your employer. LeasePlan is the owner of the file. LeasePlan will use your personal information in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation. As a driver or user, you have a right to access and amend these data at any time.

4. Liabilities

We shall make every effort to see to it that the information collected on the Internet Applications is as complete as possible, is correct, and can be consulted by you. However, we may not be held liable if certain data on the Internet Applications cannot be consulted, are incomplete or are incorrect at a given moment, whether temporarily or not.

We may freely decide no longer to make the Internet Applications available, or to refuse certain users access to the Internet Applications on a temporary or permanent basis.
